Meet Jenny Starling: travelling cook and reluctant amateur sleuth.

Jenny Starling has a summer job cooking at a prestigious Oxford college. But she's not expecting murder on the menu.

Maurice Raines, womanising taxidermy society president, is found with a knife in his neck in the dining hall.

Everyone is in classes at the time of his death. So, frustratingly, it seems they all have an alibi.

The suspects include Maurice's wife - and his lover.

The police need Jenny's help to solve this perplexing case. But can Jenny keep her focus, with a budding romance of her own simmering nicely?

This delightful cozy mystery series is perfect for fans of Agatha Christie, LJ Ross, Richard Osman, the Rev Richard Coles, Janice Hallett, Fiona Leitch and Veronica Heley.
