Roman Holiday Pattern

A vintage-inspired small wall hanging designed to resemble classic seasonal postage stamps. 

Light piecing, simple appliqué, and a touch of embroidery create a charming heirloom look perfect for a vintage-styled home. 

This design is the second in a series of eight seasonal quilt patterns based on antique postcards and stamps.

Finished quilt size: 18 3/4" x 21"

— Assorted creams and ivories for blocks
— Solid cream border
— Soft brown outer border
— Green floral binding
— Backing fabric
— Various prints and wools for appliqué (greens, browns, corals, butterscotch)
— Basic appliqué and embroidery notions: freezer paper, neutral silk thread, #11 straw needles, Roxanne’s Glue Baste-It, tracing tools, and black floss
