The story behind this design

The foliage is arranged to survive being folded. Leaves sit in loose clusters with open white space between them, so a napkin creased into quarters still shows a complete piece of the design rather than a cropped fragment. The color is drawn from the late end of the turn — ochre, rust and a faded green — kept light enough that it does not fight a laid table. Blues and pinks appear at the edges of the palette to lift it away from a pure brown scheme.

Care

Store the pack flat somewhere dry until the day, since paper napkins take up damp from the air and the edges will curl. These are single use and are not washable. Keep them away from open flames on a dressed table.
