DipaliZ Wall Clock Vintage Bird Vibrant Prints Acrylic

$29.50

The DipaliZ Bird Wall Clock is an acrylic wall clock printed with an original vintage bird design. Three options are offered: an 8 by 8 inch round, a 10.75 by 10.75 inch round and a 10.75 by 10.75 inch square. Birds are drawn in the manner of an old natural history plate, with feather detail and muted color. This clock suits kitchens, hallways and anyone furnishing a room with birds already in it.

The story behind this design

Old natural history plates were working documents: birds drawn side on, feathers counted, nothing posed for effect. This design borrows that flat, patient style rather than the soft-focus bird photography that usually ends up on clocks. Muted color keeps it from competing with the hands, which is a real problem on a busy clock face.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What sizes and shapes does the DipaliZ Bird Wall Clock come in?
A: Three options: an 8 by 8 inch round, a 10.75 by 10.75 inch round, and a 10.75 by 10.75 inch square.

Q: What is the clock face made of?
A: Acrylic, as this listing states.

Q: What is the design?
A: Vintage-style birds, drawn in the manner of an old natural history plate rather than as a modern graphic.

Q: Which size suits a small wall?
A: The 8 inch round is the smallest of the three and fits a kitchen shelf wall or a narrow hallway; both 10.75 inch options read from across a room.

Care

Dust the acrylic face with a soft dry cloth. Avoid glass cleaner and solvents, which can craze acrylic, and take the clock down rather than cleaning around it.
