DipaliZ Vintage Floral Area Rug Stain Resistance

This is an area rug from DipaliZ printed with a vintage-style floral design in gold and teal. The pattern is laid out so the blooms carry across the whole face of the rug rather than sitting in a bordered panel. It is brand new and printed to order.

The story behind this design

Vintage floral rugs usually come with a border, because the border is what hides the join where a woven pattern has to stop. A printed rug has no join to hide, so this design lets the flowers run right to the edge and get cut off there, the way a photograph crops a garden. The gold and teal were chosen for the same reason the old rugs used them: they hold their contrast under low lamplight as well as daylight.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Which size should I choose for a room?
A: The listing pairs each size with its rotated version, so pick the one that matches the way your space runs, wide or long.

Q: Is the pattern the same on every size?
A: The same artwork is used across the sizes; it is scaled to fit the shape you choose.

Q: Is the rug brand new?
A: Yes. Every DipaliZ rug is brand new and printed to order when you buy it.

Care

Vacuum the rug on a low setting and blot spills rather than rubbing them; shake it out rather than beating it so the printed face is not scuffed.
