DipaliZ Vibrant Fish Pattern Blanket Soft Microfiber Throw
The DipaliZ Fish Pattern Blanket is a velveteen microfiber throw made from 100% polyester and printed with an original colourful fish design. Three sizes are offered: 40 by 30 inches, 60 by 50 inches and 80 by 60 inches. Microfiber takes a printed image far more sharply than a knitted blanket does, which is why a busy multicolour pattern like this one stays legible. The blanket suits aquarium keepers, divers, anglers and anyone decorating a room around the sea.

The story behind this design
Fish are drawn here as flat colour shapes rather than as studies, so the pattern behaves like a textile print instead of a poster reproduced on fabric. DipaliZ varied the direction each fish swims to break the grid, which is what keeps a repeating pattern from looking mechanical at the 80 by 60 size. The mood is bright and slightly playful, more reef than trophy wall.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How many sizes of fish pattern blanket are there?
A: Three: 40 by 30 inches, 60 by 50 inches and 80 by 60 inches, listed in the size option on this page.
Q: What is velveteen microfiber?
A: It is a finely woven polyester with a short, dense pile that takes a printed image sharply. This DipaliZ blanket is 100% polyester.
Q: Which size suits a child and which suits a bed?
A: The 40 by 30 is a lap or pushchair size, the 60 by 50 is a single sofa throw, and the 80 by 60 covers a double bed or two people.
Q: What does the fish artwork show?
A: A colourful repeating pattern of fish drawn by DipaliZ, printed across the face of the blanket.
Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low or line dry. Hot washing and high dryer heat flatten a microfiber pile, and bleach will lift the printed colour.
