DipaliZ Taupe Geometric Print Cardigan

Blue and taupe run through the geometric print on this DipaliZ knitted cardigan. The knit is 55% cotton and 45% polyester. Eight sizes are sold, from 2XS to 3XL. Taupe is doing the heavy lifting in the palette, which is what gives an angular print a woodland rather than a graphic feel. Sizes and materials here are taken from this product's own specification.

The story behind this design

Geometry usually pushes a pattern toward the modern, and taupe pulls hard in the opposite direction. That tension is the whole idea here: the shapes are hard-edged, but the greyed brown under them reads as bark and lichen, so the cardigan lands somewhere between a Scandinavian textile and a forest floor. The blue is used sparingly, as the cold accent rather than as a second field.
