DipaliZ Leopard Fleece Blanket Cozy Throw

This is an arctic fleece throw blanket by DipaliZ printed with a leopard design. Arctic fleece traps air in a brushed pile, so it warms quickly and holds heat for its weight. Three sizes are offered: 30 by 40 inches, 50 by 60 inches and 60 by 80 inches. The blanket suits a cold living room, a car back seat or a den, and the animal print sits easily alongside rattan, leather and warm wood.

The story behind this design

Leopard is one of the few patterns that is almost impossible to draw badly at scale, because the rosettes are irregular by nature and a repeat never becomes obvious. This version keeps the spots large and the palette warm, in caramel and dark cocoa on a sand ground, closer to a boho interior than a fashion print. At 60 by 80 inches the rosettes read individually across a whole sofa, which is where the design is at its best.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What sizes does this DipaliZ leopard blanket come in?
A: Three sizes: 30 by 40 inches, 50 by 60 inches and 60 by 80 inches.

Q: What is the blanket made of?
A: Arctic fleece.

Q: Is arctic fleece warm enough for winter?
A: Yes. Arctic fleece traps air in a brushed pile, so it warms up quickly and holds heat well for its weight.

Q: How does this differ from the DipaliZ velveteen blankets?
A: Arctic fleece is a warmer, chunkier pile and is better for a cold room or the car. Velveteen microfiber is smoother, lighter and drapes more closely.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low, or air dry. Do not iron. Avoid fabric softener, which mats a brushed fleece pile over time.
