DipaliZ Cream Pocket Cardigan – Cozy Chic Jacquard Knit

This DipaliZ knitted cardigan is cream with pockets set at the front of the body. The knit is 55% cotton and 45% polyester. Eight sizes are sold, running from 2XS to 3XL. Pockets change what a cardigan is for: it becomes the thing you put on around the house rather than the layer you take off indoors. Sizes and materials here are taken from this product's own specification.

The story behind this design

A pocket is the most honest detail in knitwear, because it tells you how a garment is meant to be used. These sit low and square at the front, at the height where hands naturally rest, which is a working detail rather than a decorative one. The cream is kept flat and undecorated so the pockets and the front edge read as the only lines on the piece, and the whole thing stays comfortable rather than styled.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Does this cardigan have pockets?
A: Yes. Pockets sit at the front of the body, which is where the name comes from.

Q: What is the fabric blend?
A: 55% cotton and 45% polyester.

Q: What sizes are sold?
A: Eight: 2XS, XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.

Q: How is this different from the DipaliZ cream ribbed button cardigan?
A: Both are cream, but this one has front pockets and a casual cut, while the ribbed cardigan is a plain button-front with no pockets.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with whites and creams. Do not bleach and do not tumble dry; dry flat, and reshape the pocket openings by hand while damp so they do not gape.
