DipaliZ Comfort Colors Garment-dyed T-shirt Relaxed Fit

A pocket lion is the design on this DipaliZ garment-dyed t-shirt — the pocket is printed as part of the artwork rather than sewn onto the shirt. The blank is a Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee in 100% cotton with an oversized, relaxed fit. Four colourways are listed, Black, White, Burnt Orange and Royal Caribe, in sizes S to 4XL. The lion sits small on the chest where a real pocket would be.

The story behind this design

The trick here is scale. A lion is the least pocket-sized animal there is, and shrinking it into a chest-pocket footprint is the entire joke — no caption needed. Burnt Orange is the colourway that suits the subject most obviously, while Royal Caribe does the opposite and makes the animal look faintly out of place, which is arguably funnier.

Care

Machine wash this t-shirt cold, inside out, with similar colours. Tumble dry on low. Do not bleach, and do not iron directly on the printed area. Garment-dyed cotton may soften further with washing.
