DipaliZ Celestial Sherpa Blanket Ultimate Warmth Fleece

This is a sherpa fleece blanket by DipaliZ carrying a celestial design of stars and moons. Sherpa is a thick fleece with a deep curled pile that imitates shearling, so this is the heaviest and warmest blanket in the DipaliZ range. Two sizes are offered, 50 by 60 inches and 60 by 80 inches, each in Grey or Beige. It is made for the people who read outside in October and for anybody who watches the sky on purpose.

The story behind this design

The celestial artwork is drawn as a scattered night sky rather than a tidy constellation chart: stars at several sizes, a few crescent moons, and nothing joined by lines. That looseness is what keeps it from looking like a child's bedroom print. On the Beige ground the stars read warm and almost antique, like a hand-drawn star atlas; on Grey the same artwork turns colder and closer to an actual night. The pile softens every edge, so no star has a hard outline.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low, or air dry flat. Do not iron. Sherpa takes longer to dry than flat fleece, so give it time rather than raising the heat.
