DipaliZ Boho Geometric Beach Towel

This fringed beach towel is printed with a blue diamond geometric pattern. Diamonds tile a long rectangle neatly, which is why the motif turns up so often on woven towels and rugs. It measures 38 by 81 inches and is made from polyester.

The story behind this design

The diamond is one of the oldest motifs in weaving, for a practical reason: a loom builds shapes out of straight lines, and a diamond is the simplest interesting thing you can make from four of them. It looks at home on a towel because that is where it started.
