DipaliZ Boho Floral Beach Towel Sand Resistant Weave

This is a lightweight fringed beach towel in the Turkish peshtemal style, printed with a boho floral design. It measures 38 by 81 inches and is made from polyester. Because the weave is flat rather than looped, it folds down small enough to pack for a day out.

The story behind this design

A peshtemal is a flat-woven Turkish bath cloth, and it earns its place at the beach by being thin: it dries faster than a terry towel, packs to a fraction of the size, and doubles as something to sit on. The fringe is what tells you it is one.

Frequently asked questions

Q: How big is this beach towel?
A: It measures 38 by 81 inches, long enough to lie on.

Q: What is it made of?
A: Polyester, as listed in the product's material option.

Q: What is a Turkish fringe towel?
A: It is a flat-woven towel with a fringed edge, thinner and lighter than a looped terry towel, which is why it packs down small and dries quickly.

Q: Can it be used as a picnic or spa throw?
A: Yes. The size and the flat weave make it as useful spread on the ground as it is wrapped around you.
