The story behind this design

A circle on a rectangle is a tension the design has to resolve, and the usual answer is one big medallion in the middle, which looks wrong the moment a sofa leg lands on it. This one repeats smaller circles across the whole face instead, so furniture can sit anywhere without interrupting a focal point. The warm rust, ochre and cream keep it mid-century rather than merely round.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What sizes does this DipaliZ rug come in?
A: The rug is offered at 24 by 36, 36 by 24, 36 by 60, 60 by 36 and 48 by 72 inches.

Q: Is the rug round or rectangular?
A: The rug itself is rectangular; the circles are part of the printed design.

Q: Does furniture cover the pattern?
A: The circles repeat across the whole rug rather than forming one central medallion, so a chair or table leg does not interrupt a focal point.

Q: How does this differ from the DipaliZ boho abstract rug?
A: This one is a repeating circular pattern in rust, ochre and cream; the boho abstract rug uses looser organic shapes in earth tones.

Care

Vacuum the rug on a low setting and blot spills rather than rubbing them; shake it out rather than beating it so the printed face is not scuffed.
