DipaliZ Autumn Plaid Tea Towel Microfiber Quick Dry Weave

$11.35

This DipaliZ tea towel is a kitchen towel measuring 16 by 25 inches. The towel is a microfiber weave that dries quickly between uses. The design is an autumn plaid in rust, gold and cream over a warm neutral ground, crossed by fine dark lines at the intersections. The towel suits a farmhouse kitchen, a seasonal table setting or a small Thanksgiving host gift. The size comes from this listing's size option and the microfiber weave from its own product tags.

The story behind this design

The plaid was drawn from the colours of a hedgerow in late October, where rust sits beside gold and cream turns up only where the light breaks through. Rather than a symmetrical tartan, the bands are deliberately uneven, so the eye keeps moving across the cloth. The thin dark crossing lines were added last, to give the pattern the crispness a printed weave can otherwise lose.
