The suit is drawn in flag colours rather than the usual white, with red banding down the limbs and a field of stars across the chest plate, so the figure itself becomes the flag. The visor reflects a curve of earth instead of a star field, which is the one element that tells you where the astronaut is looking. Because triblend cloth is flecked, the artwork was kept to broad shapes that survive that texture.
