Chocolate Moose: A Military Family's Dog Who Traveled the World - Hardcover

by Jake Ivie (Author)

Have you ever had a furry companion who follows you everywhere speaking silently to your soul through soft brown eyes and warm cuddles? One who speaks to the secrets of life and happiness with nonverbal affection that melts the stress away and brings you back to a time of child-like simplicity? For Jake, Moose was that companion. This is a story of a loyal dog who became a part of a family and, although not human, brought out the best of humanity in so many people. Start to finish, you'll read about how an Oklahoma chocolate Labrador accompanied a military family across the globe and wound up back in the same house in which he matured to live out the last of a life enriched with experiences. Moose was a good dog like so many others. His story is unique, intriguing, and heartbreaking, but worth the time to experience through the perspective of a man whose dog taught him how to love.
